iMovie how to delete projects completely

Hi there,

I was playing around with the latest version of iMovie and I was wondering if anyone knows how to completely delete projects quickly? So far, in the project view menu when a project is deleted the clips and media will remain in the iMovie library (but it will be hidden from the iMovie project view). Of course one can then delete this folder in the library package, but iMovie doesn't seem to like me doing this (a window will pop open next time I try to open a project saying that the library is damaged).

Anyone know of a more straight-forward way to delete projects completely?

In iMovie 10.1 and later original media can can be stored either in an event, (a collection of media which is available to any projects in the library), or in a project where it is 'local' just to that project (and appears in 'PROJECT MEDIA'). When you delete a project in the projects view, only the local project media is deleted. If you used media from events in a project you have to delete the event(s) from the list in the upper left pane of the project view:

User uploaded file

You can only do this if media from the event are not used in any other project.
