fcp x crashes when i put transitions on a 4k still image edit timeline
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)
What are your computer specs? What's the resolution of the still images?
Resolution is 3840 × 2160

ALl transitions? Can't see why it would happen. Maybe post a screenshot of the timeline to see if there's anything there.
The resolution of the still images are all different but the timeline settings are 3840 × 2160.
i tried applying a page curl transition and when i tried to modify, it started crashing. I opened an older timeline from the autosave vault lets see how that goes. if it starts crashing again i will post it here. Thanks for your help.
If the image resolutions are very large it might be too much for the graphics card, especially the page curl.
Okay thanks will keep that in mind. Although i feel its not that complex of a transition and yet it still crashes. I will try some more transitions and see how it goes.
