Imported go pro videos from Hero 4 silver in July 2015 on to my ipad, and they played then.
Now trying to play them on the same device, popup says unsupported video format.
Yet they play also ok on my Imac
Ipad running 9.3.2, not sure when this was updated, but clearly after July 2015.
What is going on !

It seems that you have an iPad Air? That should be supported by go pro however there may be an issue with go pro software. I suggest you email or call a go pro software consultant as they are the only ones that could help you on this one. The only other thing I could guess is your GoPro app isn't updated?

no not yet, think it is more a OS upgrade issue than go-pro, but I will look later .... another forum to join 😟
What is odd was these files were imported a year ago from SD card, and they worked then on the Ipad air, now almost 1 year on it says they are unsupported, but the copies imported into photos play on my Imac without issue which is running OS X El Capitan v 10.11.5
I see there is a OS 9.3.3 for the ipad air
ipad no longer plays Gopro video from 1 year ago!
