remove iphoto from showing as being updateable. in the app store when I open it

Delete iPhoto from the Applications folder, so Spotlight will no longer see it installed.
Or update iPhoto to version 9.6.1, if yo own an AppStore version. You can update by reinstalling iPhoto from the Purchases tab of the AppStore after yo deleted it from the Applications folder.
