Hi all, am aware that iTunes 12.4.2 has been released today. In fact I have already updated by Mac OS. But where is it for windows? I am checking apple software update and it isn't being offered. Presume it should be available on windows too? I think apple does this before, windows release lags behind Mac offering. Just want to see if others not seeing it offered too
It's still not showing. The Mac one released hours ago. Have Apple forgot they need to offer 12.4.2 to Windows users via their Apple Software Update too?
Hello. Thank you, yes I know about that method too. It says 12.4.1 is the latest version too. Apple just has not seem to of bothered to make the update available via the normal methods to Windows users. I do realise it can be downloaded as a standalone but I really would of thought it should be available via Apple Software Update or check for updates within iTunes by now. The Mac variant of iTunes came through hours ago by comparison
It finally showed up in Apple Software Update at 10 pm UK time. Over three hours behind the Mac counterpart!!!!
That's not that unusual. First attempts to download directly failed completely with nothing happening when I clicked for the 64-bit download on http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and the download button not even showing on the Download iTunes 12.4.2 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) page.
