Bootcamp with Windows 10 Pro and Trackpad++ but still issues with pointer responsiveness
Hi folks,
I did a dual boot via Bootcamp of Windows 10 Pro on my Macbook 12" 2016. I installed TrackPad++ in a hope that I could run Windows smoothly on my Mac (don't like OSX, no intention of using it).
However, the trackpad pointer performance is driving me crazy. If I make subtle finger tracks on it, sometimes it responds as it should (smoothly with excellent response) and other times it doesn't seem to register the motion. As a result I have tended to overshoot position, make clicks on the assumption of motion etc. It's so, so frustrating, and I can't seem to find an answer to the issues.
I would accept that the issue is very subtle and I can't seem to find other people mentioning it. To clarify, the trackpad is working 100% perfectly with El Capitan, so it doesn't seem to be a hardware issues. I am developer so I am making a lot of subtle motion on the trackpad for selecting lines of code, inspecting HTML elements, moving between elements on HTML forms etc. If I can't get this issues sorted, I am going to have to replace the MacBook with another machine (most likely a Dell XPS 13). However, I REALLY want to hold onto the MacBook as I love the build quality.
Can anyone help?
