I have noticed this for years. I just did a new install of 10.10.5 on an separate drive using the Recovery Disk and when it rebooted there were files in the trash from an install that I usually use and is failing, thus the new install. Have not and will not run Migration assistant. Why are there files in the trash from completely other drive in this fresh install?
