Q: What Should I Do With My Cracked iPhone 5c?
I dropped my iPhone 5c last week and the front is completely cracked, to the point where the slide function and touch screen isn't working.
I took the phone to an Apple Store where they said it would be £210 to replace it, which doesn't seem worth it, given that I'll be getting a new iPhone with my contract in six months (and I have another phone I can use until then).
My question is - what can I do with the current phone? It still has all my data on it, because I can't go in and remove it, so I can't sell it for parts. But at the same time, I can't use it myself. But throwing it away seems a waste and not environmentally good.
Any suggestions?

You CAN sell it for parts. To wipe it, assuming you set up Find my iPhone, you can go to http://icloud.com/#find, select the iPhone, and remotely erase it. Be sure to also follow these steps: What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. You may not be able to follow all of them with the screen not working, but do what you can, and as long as you've removed your data and disengaged Activation Lock, both of which can be done from Find my iPhone, then that should be enough.
