Q: Garageband IOS, help emulating sound

Hey all, I use garage band for IOS a lot. I feel it's one of the best music-making programs I've ever used - however, the biggest problem is its inability to emulate sounds from other places. With its limited instrument capacity and lack-luster sound capture, I haven't been able to figure out how to make specific sounds, especially when trying to remake a song in the app.

I'm trying to re-create this song:

At the beginning of the song, there are these sort of calm, ranging intensity "wubs" that I can't figure out how to make in the app. The other instruments could be substituted for strings or basses, but these are a real roadblock for me. If anybody can help me emulate this sound as close as possible, it would help a lot. Thanks

P.S. I tried capturing it with both the audio recorder and sound sampler, but it came out low-quality and I couldn't understand how to edit it. So, is there a way to change some of the synthesizers to sound like this?
