Q: Partial album download!?

I am unable to download the full album I have purchased with no explanation, i.e. there is plenty of available memory.

All the tracks that I do not have the option to download only play the 90 second preview you would get on the store, why is this?

I have checked all software updates and I am up to date.

Any help greatly received!

How are you trying to download them, are you only going into the main part of the store ? If they aren't showing in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes music store homepage (or Account > Purchased menu option) for (re)downloading then check to see if you've hidden them from the cloud : Hide and unhide iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store purchases - Apple Support.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

I tried that already and doesn't bring up the tracks as available downloads. There are 37 tracks that I cannot download to my mac but they are on my iPhone strangely enough. I have tried deleting the album and re-downloading but the same tracks do not download. The album is Hospitality 2016, can't find any info that suggests it would not be a complete album on purchase.

The album was purchased on 29/01/16 with some un-released tracks but they should all be released now, plus how are they all on my phone!?

    Thanks,

    Rob

Which part have you tried, going to the Purchased section and/or checking to see if you've hidden them from the cloud ?

Both. The hidden from the cloud part doesn't come up under the account management screen and in the purchased album section I can find the tracks that are missing but only when I click on all which suggests it is in my library.

How do the tracks show in the store on your Mac ? Purchased tracks that aren't downloaded onto the Mac should have 'Purchased' against them instead of a price, with downloaded tracks having 'Play' (as the store can play them from your library). And you've tried logging out (Account > Sign Out menu option), closing iTunes and re-opening it, and logging back into the account to see if they then show for downloading in Purchased ? And in Purchased when you do 'all', do they have the cloud icon against them or is that missing (it should show if iTunes thinks that they aren't in your library) ?
