Jul 19, 2016 5:20 AM in response to Fannyfilleby Michael Black,★HelpfulThat should be your carrier's services. I am with AT&T so that section on my iPhone 6 says "AT&T Services" and has short codes to get things like your account balance, directory assistance, and so on.
I don't know what "TIM" stands for - was Brightroam or iROAM operated under different names before? Maybe it is just a legacy name?
(trust google to provide a potential answer - TeleHop Communications owns iRoam Mobile Solutions, and iROAM and BrightRoam have agreements with TeleCom Italia Mobile, or TIM, for mobile services).

Jul 19, 2016 5:15 AM in response to Michael Blackby Fannyfille,Hello Micheal, this make sense but with a twist....
On my phone, on top left of the screen I see "Rogers" as the carrier!
I do not understand what TIM is doing there, I am now in Canada but when I was in the USA I remember seeing "Orange" instead of "TIM"
TIM is an Italian service provider and Orange is an israelian service provider.
Why would those service providers appear on my phone?
Could there be 2 carriers involved with my sim card?
I really need to go to the bottom of this because I can't activate Imessage on my phone and I suspect it could be related

Jul 20, 2016 4:51 AM in response to Fannyfilleby Michael Black,★HelpfulCan you contact iROAM for support about it? It may be something to do with the fact they are an MVNO and contract with various companies for network services depending on where you are in the world? The iROAM web site mentions some 340 roaming partners in their alliance? And it appears that it is not necessarily the case that the network your iROAM SIM is allowed to roam/connect on is also the contractor for your mobile services - iROAM may contract those two components separately in the same country.
iROAM's support site looks like you can call a toll free number or email them from anywhere, so I would really ask them about this.

Jul 19, 2016 1:24 PM in response to Michael Blackby Fannyfille,Hello Michael,
I have been trying to get answers from Iroam support but getting info from them is like puling teeth.
I have 2 separate support calls logged with Iroam, one for iMessage activation failure and one to inquire about TIM but I am not getting knowledgeable poeple to answer.
I guess I will have to try harder.
Thanks for your help
