Q: having trouble with their iPhone 6s battery life

Have been having trouble with battery life, have background app refresh off, wifi assist off, and try my best to keep apps closed when not using them. I have att as a carrier. Battery has been starting off at 100% and a lot of the time has been down to 30% by mid day with little use.

    Hello sbever,

I understand how important power and portability are for the iPhone. I would be lost without mine. Here are a few things you can check to help wth your battery.

First, please check this help article from Apple: About the battery usage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It offers many things within the settings for you to check.

Another thing you can do that should improve your battery life is discussed in this help article: About cellular data settings and usage on your iPhone and iPad. It has a section about disabling cellular usage in the section titled "View and adjust data usage". This will only allow cellular usage for the most important apps such as your phone calls, emails, Safari, and anything you use all the time and need to leave on. Anything else will be disabled, and if they are not running or sending the signal back and forth, that will utilize less power, prolonging your battery life.

Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.
