Q: Retail Copy of Mac OS 9.2.1 or Higher

I got a snow iBook G3 and I want to install Mac OS 9 on my Snow iBook G3. I got me a copy of Mac OS 9.1, but 9.1 isn't compatible with my model (And yes, I tried). Anything Mac OS 9.2.1 or higher will work. I've seen "Update" CDs, but not sure if they will work as there is no Mac OS 9 on the iBook. Did Apple made full retail copies? Or will I have to find a gray CD? On MacTracker, it says the late 2001 and the 1st iBook 14.1" LCD both came with Mac OS 9.2.1, if I buy the wrong one, will it not work with my model? Or is the 14" model's Mac OS 9.2.1 CD compatible with the Late 2001 iBook?
