Jul 20, 2016 1:06 PM in response to Eric Rootby Chucky18,Ok, My iCloud is full and I have a lot of photos on my iPhone as well as my laptop. I want to free up space on my iPhone and iCloud. So, how would I go about accomplishing this task? My laptop (macbook pro) has the same amount of data on it, however its good. Have any suggestions, Eric Root?
Thanks

Jul 20, 2016 1:33 PM in response to Chucky18by Winston Churchill,★HelpfulIt sounds like you might want to use Photostream iinstead of iCloud Photo Library. That way it won't use your iCloud space and you can delete photos from the phone once they have copied to your Mac.

Jul 20, 2016 1:41 PM in response to Winston Churchillby Chucky18,Ok, The photos are already on the mac. I’m just trying to free up space on the my iCloud by moving the photos that I want to the external drive and delete the other photos. Should I accomplished this by moving the photos off my
iphone or mac to the external drive?

Jul 20, 2016 1:46 PM in response to Chucky18by Winston Churchill,Are they in the photos app or not on the Mac. Are you just wanting to remove them from the library and archive them to an external drive. What about going forward, what do you want to do with new photos you take on the phone.
