Q: Simulate trumotion / clear motion / motion flow on finalcut pro x
I have a couple of 1080p at 30fps videos (cartoons) on my macbook pro 15" retina display that I sometimes mirror on a LG smart TV. When I play those videos on the TV, motion looks a lot smoother than on my macbook pro 15" retina display. I read a lot of stuff about frame rates on TVs and my conclusion is that the better motion experience on TVs is because of the trumotion / clear motion / motion flow technology that modern TVs have. They are powerfull enough to basically create fake frames between 2 real frames and giving a very cool smooth feeling.
So I was wondering if I it is possible to simulate that tecjnoly on final cut pro. Like, create a new project (1080p at 60fps), then I throw a 30fps video and let final cut pro do what the tvs do at realtime, the creation of these between frames to get the smoother motion feeling that I get on a TV.
Does anyone know if is that possible?
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)
