Viewing on TV

Hi All


I would like to be able to view a project that i have done or photos on my TV and my relatives TV what is the best way of doing this


I have apple tv but not sure if i want to carry this when i go visiting.


Can i plug in my HDMI lead and do it that way and if so can i use my iPad as a control


or can i do via wifi etc

Yes you can connect your MacBook Pro to a TV via HDMI with the appropriate adopter if necessary.

You can use the iPod to easily control iTunes on the Mac using:

Set up Remote for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

For other media you need apps like the free (for non-commercial use) TeamViewer or pair apps like GoToMyPC.

Thanks but still to no avail will have to carry my apple tv with me everywhere did try a few 3rd party apps but they all want money for the use and being that i might only use it 3 or 4 times a year not worth it.


I am surprised that apple do not do an app for it the remote app only lets you control iTunes but not iPhoto or anything else
