Worse Case Scenario!!! Pictures

I recently took a vacation and took a lot of pictures. A couple days ago my phone randomly decided to go into a reboot cycle and kept showing me the screen to connect it to itunes. I tried to update it (to ios 9.3.3) but it didn't work and now it's telling me I have to do a factory reset. I didn't backup my pictures to my computer (Windows 10) and apparently I didn't turn on iCloud photo library so, it didn't show up on icloud. I tried going on my sister's phone and logging into icloud and turning it on there, hoping it'd work, but it doesn't seem like it did. Is there anyway I can still get my photos or do I have to lose them forever?... (by any chance, has this happened to anybody else?...)

You can try using the Dr.Fone app for Windows. Download here: https://drfone.wondershare.com/recovery-mode/how-to-recover-data-from-iphone-in- recovery-mode.html

Or

You can get it out of recory mode [The Connect iTunes Screen] by holding the Sleep/Wake & the Home Button until the iPhone reboots and shows the Apple Logo.
