What were the precise steps to complete a network reset on your iPad ?

Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings

You will have to log in to all Wifi networks you use again though.

Thanks, but resetting Network Settings (on iPad) as instructed, as well as a follow-up iPad restart, didn't work for me. ...bummer, although I remain able to use My Books.

Yes, iBooks Store is again fully working on my iPad Air 2. ...Must have been a backend issue with the Store. No harm, no foul.

Yup, its working ok for me today.

I was having this problem and I tried all of the suggestions, resetting Privacy and Locations, restarting, signing out of iTunes and all the rest. Nothing worked. On a whim I opened iTunesU. Everything worked there. So I tried opening iBooks and going to the iBooks Store and it worked. Fluke? Who knows. But I'm able to access the store again.
