Q: iphone wont connect to itunes
iTunes doesn't recognize my phone and I think it because my cellular data is on and I think iTunes connect through wifi. I even emailed apple and they gave me a link to a list of things you can do if your iTunes doesn't recognize your phone. But that didn't help me. Can someone PLEASE PLEASE help me its been disabled for a month and i dont know my password
P.S I have a mac

iTunes can sync content with an iPhone using Wi-Fi if it has previously been set up to do that.
However, to erase and restore your iPhone using iTunes (because you forgot the passcode for your iPhone), you instead need to connect your iPhone to your computer using a Lightning to USB cable.
When connecting your iPhone to your computer, check that you are using either a genuine Apple cable or an Apple-certified / MFi cable. If you are already doing so, try instead using another cable of the same type (ie only genuine or certified).
