Q: Mac Pro won't recognize keyboard

Thanks but I have a wired keyboard, not a wireless keyboard. I'm not sure why this message about a wireless keyboard is even showing up unless maybe the repair center either used a wireless keyboard and or messed something else up with whatever they did. In addition, the window of this message won't close and can't be force closed and since I can't get a keyboard to work I can't log in or do anything else.

Yes I'm using a wired keyboard. I can't force quit the window that says a wireless keyboard isn't responding and I can't manually close it since the button is grey- it shows a turning circle. Also I can use the mouse attached to the keyboard but can't type anything. So I don't think I can follow those steps. I can't really do much of anything without a working typing keyboard.

I haven't tried all usb ports I will try that and I haven't tried the apple keyboard on my macbookpro yet. We did try another non apple keyboard- a menu opened up and said to press a button next to a certain button, I've forgotten which one, but nothing happened when that was done.

I think they would have realized if it were a hardware problem? I'm sure they've messed something else up with whatever they did because they were apparently able to use it and type on it with their keyboard as far as I know.
