Q: MXF import 10.2.3 not working Correctly (solved?)
When I try to import footage from a Panasonic AG-HVX200P Folder in FCPX there are some problems....
In the Media Import window the audio and video are in sync and the footage looks interlaced.
I copy the footage in and Create Optimized Media is greyed out.
I import the footage and when I play it, the video is double-time and the audio is normal but cuts halfway and the video freezes.
The codec is DVCPRO HD 1080i60, Linear PCM which the Inspector Window shows me.
it shows me the Frame Rate as 23.98
I FIGURED IT OUT (sorta)
after importing over 300+ videos i found out that in the Media Import window under VIDEO
I needed to take out the Checkmark for REMOVE PULLDOWN.
Unfortunately the videographer has used different frame rates so I can't do a Highlight All and import.
Does anybody know if after you import is it still possible to REMOVE PULLDOWN so that way i don't have to restart from scratch?
