Q: iBooks access to iTunes Store not working on ipad

When I try to list any library in iBooks but my own on my pad I get a blank screen and nothing shows.  This used to work just fine until some time last weekend.  I tried yesterday and today, updated the system software and did a hard reboot but no luck!  I'm a heavy user of iBooks, it's the app I used 95% of the time, and have probably over 1000 books on it.  So my karge personal library might contribute to this problem, but it woukd still be nice it the app worked properly.  I'd be happy for any and all suggestions.  Thanks.

There are a number of threads about the same problem (since 9.3.3 came out). For me logging out and back into my account via Settings > iTunes & App Store briefly fixed it (until I next opened a book on my bookshelf), other people appear to have had some success by closing the app via the iPad's taskbar and/or doing a soft-reset/reboot. If you want to leave feedback to Apple about the problem : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ibooks_ios.html

Thanks for the suggestions.  I started having the issue since before I updated to 9.3.3.  Doing the update was one of my ways to try to solve the problem.  I've already tried all the other temp fixes and none helped.  So now I just posted a bug report on the feedback site.  Thanks for the link.

I Just found this list of steps to solve the problem. http://appletoolbox.com/2016/07/ibooks-store-not-working-shows-blank-screen/

I Had all done them before but tried a reboot anyway As the previous reboot was done before the update to 9.3.3 (I think). Anyway, it solved my problem.  Maybe it'll solve others' as well.  Good luck!

THis is how I solved the problem on my iPad.

    Open ibooks.

Tab "select" up in the right corner.

    Tab "mark all"

Up in the lefr corner tab "move"

A roll down folder menu opens.

I created a new folder and named it just "Temp"

Move all marked items from the book shelf to that new folder

(I actually kept my recently boought book on the shelf)

After all items have been moved go back to the start screen

Now ibooks will connect to the book store.

    If not, restart the App.
