Q: Monhtly charge for Family Sharing?

How much is the monthly charge for family sharing? Excuse that I cannot seem to find the answer. Thank you in advance. We are in Canada and My Network subscription is with Rogers if that matters. Thanks.

There isn't a charge for setting up and using family sharing, you are only charged for what you (and the family members if they don't have a balance on their accounts) purchase from the iTunes stores

As King_Penguin said, there is no charge for setting-up and using family sharing.  The only charges are for iTunes, iBooks, and App Store purchases and iTunes Match subscriptions or any additional iCloud storage.  But these charges apply to any type of account (single or shared).  The only distinction is that with Family Sharing, one adult in the family—the family organizer—agrees to pay for any purchases that other family members initiate while they're part of the family group.

Okay, so I can set it up and if we are the type of family who does not often buy apps, then is should be good?

I recently purchased a business card scanner app, if I start the family sharing now, am I able to share that app with my husband and he can "install" it in his phone and use it as well? Would the data sync and he would see the business cards saved on my app or his "content" will be different from mine?

Further, I want to purchase the Baby Sign Language app and use it in my Toddler's ipad mini. So does that mean that I can download it from there and install it in my iPhone 6S as well? and technically my husband can have access to it as well and install in his iPhone 5S?

Thanks in advance. Pardon the ignorance, I just want to make sure I am not setting up something that will cost us tons of money in the end. Thanks for your time. =)

If those apps are shareable (an app's description page in the store should say whether it is or not : What types of content can I share with Family Sharing? - Apple Support) you should be able to download them on other family members devices by select their account in the Purchased tab in the App Store app on their device : Share purchased content with Family Sharing - Apple Support

The card scanner app's content shouldn't copy across to your husband's device, when he downloads it he will just get the app.
