iPhone not uploading to iCloud !!!

Hi, i have only just found out that Photos i take with my iPhone are not being uploaded to my iCloud page, despite all my devices being correctly set up.

For example the only way i could get a couple of screenshots, explaining my problem, to my Lap Top, for posting below, was to email them to myself !!!.

I also pay 79p a month to subscribe to a 50gb Web Space in my iCloud, so Space is definitely NOT a problem.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3), iPhone 5S, wife has iPad2 and my 4S

I don't use iCloud Photo Library, but I know that the photos will only upload over WiFi, so my questions is, are you using WiFi to try to upload? If you are attempting this at home in your own WiFi network, have you tried power cycling your router?

Your screenshot shows the WiFi fan but it doesn't show all three bars indicating a strong connection.

I went out o the room to take the screenshots, the signa strength is ok now, well spotted.

I have had it connected to WiFi for a few hours now and i also connected it to iTunes on my Lap Top and SYNCed it, this didnt make any difference either, but now something seems to be happening, for example, at the bottom of my phones Moments page, it is showing :-

"Uploading 242items (767.0 MB of 1.75gb)" and the numbers are all going down as i write this :-)

I still dont know what i did to get it going, a screenshot i took, with my phone, about half an hour ago still doesnt appear on my Lap Top though.

Let the photos upload to iCloud before you check the laptop. It can take some time before the whole process works as expected.

Syncing with iTunes has absolutely no impact at all on this process since iTunes isn't needed. It all works over WiFi.

I prefer the old forum as well, but I'm an old curmudgeon and I dislike change, especially when change really isn't necessary. I'm am getting used to it, but that doesn't mean that I like it.
