I have found my Ipod Nano and recharged it when I first plugged it in for charge it displayed the iTunes I remember being loaded. However, when I plugged it in to the PC (using the same cable I have used recently so I know it works!) it displayed a message 'Use iTunes to Restore'. I have gone through the reset routine but, it still displays the message. Any rational suggestions out there?

How long was the iPod inactive? If it was for a lengthy period the battery is probably defunct.

Image of the message I am getting. Again I have tried resetting (no apparent reaction), if I plug it into the PC (Windows 10) the message flashes on and off; if I try with no power cable or connections the screen remains blank. Very frustrated now.
Glad to hear it, now you just need some good Bluetooth headphones and you will be ready to go when you get your 7th Generation Nano.
