Not reinstall El Capitan (HD unrecognized)

Bonjour ;

Dom.

Hello ;

Here's my big worry, I needed to reinstall El Capitan on my macbook and so I restart the pc on bootable external hard drive and from there I via Disk Utility cleared HD and unfortunately the pc died (my fault) and since, impossible to erase or to mount this HD, it is no longer recognized in the list of HD.

How to return it to the normal and so can reinstall El Capitan?

A big thank you for your assistance I will be very precious, good to you ..

Not sure you can restore it to normal.

If you have access to another Mac, you can connect Macs with a firewire, or Thunderbolt cable, or Ethernet cable and follow the steps here, If you can see the drive in Target Disk, you can run Disk Utility from another Mac.

Edit: How was it damaged and why do say it was your fault?
