I Cannot use Wallet because Apple Pay want me to a a credit card. I cannot get rid of the Apple pay screen.

iPhone SE, iOS 9.3.3

The only "Apple pay screen" I can think of is when you're first setting up a device (which you can choose to skip that step) or if you double-tap your home button to bring up Apple Pay.

What exactly are you referring to? You don't have to use Apple Pay if you don't want to.

When I open wallet the top third of the screen is an Apple Pay screen for adding a credit card. I have my boarding pass for a flight in there but I can only see 60% of the pass cos the Apple Pay screen will not go away. I have tried swiping the Apple Pay screen but it will not move. Similarly I cannot swipe my boarding pass to see it because the Apple Pay screen will not move.

You should be able to tap on the boarding Pass to show it full screen.

The Add credit card screen is not removable.
