Q: App Store on Mavericks 10.9.5 not working

I knew it was a security update for Mavericks and when I click on the Apple Store App, it started to bounce and was not connecting to the Apple Store Server. Got some spinning wheels and the app was very unresponsive.

I know some people had this problem here, so I am going to share how I resolved it. Sometimes things can be so simple when you know exactly how to do things. Here is how I resolved this issue.

 

1. Go to;

Apple - Support - Downloads

Download the last security update for Mavericks

2. Install the security update

3. The computer will boot after you have installed the update

 

The application is back on working just fine.
