Q: My mail screen on the iPad Mini keeps timing out and immediately goes back to home page

Every time I select mail the mail page comes up and then, almost immediately, returns to the home screen

on the mini

iPad Mini, iOS 9.3.3

Might be an app running that's causing a conflict with Mail.

Follow the instructions for force quitting any running apps here > Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then restart your iPad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

Then try Mail.

It worked the first time I tried it, then it timed out again.
