Lock screen showing Hello in different languages

I have woken up during the night and clicked the top button on my iPhone5 to see the time and the screen is different than usual, it says Hello and if I don't swipe it goes to different languages, one after another. I have swiped to the right and put my unlock code in, then I need to choose a Network and the correct one is already ticked so I click next, then there is an Activate iPhone message wanting me to put my Apple id and password. Does this sound normal?

My details were all in the phone before I went to bed, so is it safe to put these details in and continue?
