Temperature Sensor

My iphone 6+ is out of warranty. It had some water damage. It's dry and starts but the Temperature warning comes up and only works if I place an ice pack over the screen and it needs to stay under 32 degrees. Crazy. I replaced the battery and heat shield on the LCD but that did not fix it. Is there an other temperature sensor located somewhere I'm missing that can be cleaned or replaced?

I lifted the heat shield under the display ports and cleaned that area. Now the phone stays working for 2-3 mins and actually heats up again before I get the same screen. I would bet more cleaning might be the fix here. Time to search Youtube for how to completely dismantle this thing. Seems better than the 300 option. Too bad the Fair Repair Act failed...
