Q: Animated Transitions in Motion 5 for FCPX

I am working on a transition in Motion 5 to use in FCPX. It's a comic book theme, and the way I want it to work is the camera comes out of one panel and a page flips over the current panel and the panel to transition to is overtop of the previous. In between, I have an animated page curl that makes the second page go on top of the previous, but when I save it to FCPX, the transition just cuts, it doesn't do the page curl. Does anyone know why that is happening and how can I fix that? Thanks!

    It helps if the Transition A and B backgrounds are both the full length of the project.

     

    The Animate parameter does not carry over to FCPX. You must turn it off. Keyframe the Percent parameter to set your timing (its timing will scale in FCPX depending on how long you set it). An alternative would be to publish the Percent parameter for keyframing within FCPX.
