iPhone 4s stuck lock/power button

I have an iPhone 4s, my upgrade time is next month. My lock/power button (at the top of the phone) is stuck. When I use the home button to wake my phone, sometimes the phone will lock itself, without me pressing anything, or will show the "slide to power off" screen. I've had this problem for about a month now, and at first I could deal with it, it want a huge problem. Id like to know if there is any sort of temporary solution for this, don't want to have to take apart the phone to replace anything, since I'll be upgrading next month anyways. Thanks in advance!

wipe the button down with a lint free cloth and if you feel like dancing with the devil by the light of the full moon clean it with some 90% isopropyl alcohol with the turned so the button is on the bottom and you wipe it with said lint free cloth, allowing the liquid to not go into the phone by keeping the button positioned so it is the closest thing to the earths gravity (e.g. isopropyl alcohol does not leak into the phones internal housing because it can only go away from the phone)

if that does not fix it you phone is 'prolly falling apart and time for a new one (I have the same phone btw)

if the phone blows up, I was never here or suggested any of this. 😝
