My IPad Air is in zoom mode. I tried to double tap with 3 fingers no help. I tried to connect to Itunes and it showed my ipad but it was not showing my the summary section which was listed in help topic. The resolution is too large. It will not let me power it off.

Settings > General > Accessibility > then switch Zoom off
First try a Forced Restart. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds until the Apple logo appears. You will not lose anything.
Then try the double tap 3 finger gesture again.
