Q: Apple ID and ICloud

I am trying to sign out of my Icloud on my Iphone but in order to do that i have to enter my password which I have forgotten so i enter my Apple ID but then it says its invalid, not an Apple ID. I have check it and it is the Apple ID. What do I do?

    Hey drew8687,

     

    I would first try logging on to appleid.apple.com just to be sure that it is an actual Apple ID. I do not believe that there is a termination of account due to inactivity so I would triple check that you haven't miss-typed or misplaced a symbol.


    In order to reset your password, you may go to appleid.apple.com and click on "Forgot Apple ID or Password"

     

    Your iCloud and Apple ID will be the same email address.

    Problem to solved iCloud Account:

     

    1. Have you recover or reset your whole Apple ID?

    2. Make sure you didn't enter your email or password incorrect.

    3. Don't use .icloud.com as your Apple ID Username.

    4. If your devices prevent you from signing in your iCloud (Apple ID Sign In) Account.
