Q: iTunes Producer for Mavericks (10.9.5)

I was going to download iTunes Producer to upload my first book when I saw this message: "Our tool to upload your book to iTunes Connect. Requires OS X 10.10 or later."

But I'm on a MacBook with Mavericks (10.9.5) and don't see any link to download a Mavericks compatible version of iTunes Producer.

Any help, please?

Have you considered upgrading to El Capitan?

Mavericks is getting pretty long in the tooth.

No. I'm very happy with Mavericks, and wouldn't upgrade a whole system and all the apps just because of one app: iTunes Producer.

What's wrong with Apple? It didn't use to be like that. Usually, it let people download older versions according to their OS.

And Mavericks is not that old in the first place.

As someone posted in that discussion: Apple is getting worse since Mr. Jobs is no longer around.

I published my e-book with Amazon and it was so easy! Today, I decided to try the iBook Store, and it's very, very complicated.

Yes, complicated and unreliable. I got a cover image file goofed up and cannot control it anymore. As a result when I try to submit, I get tons of error messages denying my book.
