Q: Resize other partitions to make room for a new one.
I use a 2TB external disk (GUID Partition Table) to store bootable disk images of my three mac computers. Like this:
The thing is - I need more space for another partition, so can I resize all other partitions to get minus 20GB from all, then create a new partition on the new free space?

Not without deleting and recreating them, which will erase any data on them. The Disk Utility can’t change the starting point of an existing partition.
