Apple does not sell iPhones (or any other devices) in Iran. The "plan" to confiscate iPhones is unfortunate, but Apple cannot possibly do anything about it, particularly since all of them are there via the Black Market or bought elsewhere and brought into the country.

If I were a business of any kind, I would not even consider moving into Iran because of the political climate - which affects the economic climate. Why would I introduce sales of my products into Iran if I feared that they might be confiscated?

As stated, Apple does not sell iPhones - or do business of any kind - in Iran, so they have no "dog in the fight" so to speak.
