Q: MacBook Air is hot, fan on constantly

Hello, lately, our MacBook air is very hot. The fan is on constantly. The hot spots are the bottom left quadrant, closest to the power connection, and on top, the left side and the length of the keyboard (same side of the power connector). Has anyone experienced this and have a resolution? Could it be an issue with the powercord?

What are the temps and fan speed? I use this app

Post a screenshot of that that shows when you think it is hot.

Also what does Activity Monitor say is using CPU when. See:
