Q: Changing the apple ID email address on devices when password is not known.

I know the apple ID, user name and password on my MacBook Pro but my devices have an old email address attached to them and I don't know the password(s). Consequently, I can't buy new apps. I have gone into the security of the devices and I found a password but it does not allow me access.
