you can try some manual methods that have been around to resolve it...
• If Safari doesn't load a page or webpage items are missing - Apple Support
• Safari: "Could not open the page, too many redirects" - Apple Support
• Eliminating browser redirects and advertisements:

• Adware Removal Guide: (discusses manual method & also use of free tool)

Learning to know what to look for usually takes time. The author of these
articles was helpful in making available a free utility to help remove adware.
Note a link in 2nd article above, if you want to try that option: antimalware.
Also Etrecheck, a free software you can use to generate a system report that
can be posted into an ASC discussion, can also help remove some adware.
• About Etrecheck: http://etrecheck.com/#about = includes info + download link
Bits of questionable stuff your mac may have accumulated by browsing, or by
downloads from other less reputable sites, could be a cause of bad symptoms.
In any event...
Good luck & happy computing!
