Safari size too small when opening
Using Yosemite on a 27 inch IMac, Safari always opens up too compressed. I have to hit Command and + twice to get it to the proper size. How can I get it to normally open larger (like my other browsers do)?

Might be a corrupt .plist.
Do a backup, preferably 2 backups on 2 separate drives.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart the computer, open the application, and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

Have you set up Safari as your Home Page. If not, by whatever means, load Safari to a standard you find acceptable, then go to Safari preferences and click on the General tab and select the 'Set to current page'. Quit Safari and then re-load it. From now onwards it should load as you had set it.
Go to system preferences > dock > check the box : double click a windows title bar to > select zoom .
Double click on the Toolbar.
If this doesn't help, try dragging the corners of the Safari window to fit the size you prefer.
