i forgot my security questions and apple locked

i thought i knew my security question and continued to type it in 3 times. apple locked me out of downloading apps or purchasing stuff (happy they have that tough of security) but .... how do i fix it or how long do i wait till i can change my security questions cause right now it keeps telling me "too many failed attempts" .

if anybody has any advice on how to fix it or knows how long it takes for that message to go away so i can change my info, would be greatly appreciated.
