Ethernet cable unplugged

I turned off my Mac while a severe storm. Turned it back on after the storm, it does not connect to internet.

I tried with my PC laptop, it connects all right so it is not a problem with the modem nor cable.

I turned off Mac and modem, unplugged the cable and back Mac on after the modem started, etc.

My Mac is iMac 21.5 inch, Late 2009; OS X El Capitan 10.11.6; ISP is Comcast.

Latest Incompatible Kernel Extension Configuration Data is 3.30.1

I hope someone has a solution, hopefully not too technical.

Thank you.

iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)
