How to complain about Apple Customer Support??

I have done all apple executives have told me to do, Restored my phone 2-3 times and went to a service center once, still phone performance is very very poor, Some time app crashes, Home button stop working, even I cannot receive my phone calls, Its only 4 months I bought iphone and I am asking for replacement then technical team says only I can repair my phone, How stupid is this??

Just a brief:

I bought my iphone 5s in the month of march via a e commerce website flipkart.com, in the same month i faced some heating issues , I lodged my complain to flipkart they told me restore my Phone-I did. Then after some time I again faced many problems (To name a few)- Slider not working during incoming calls, App crashes very frequently even the inbuilt apps like phonebook crashes, I need to restart my phone every week to bring out the performance I require, Phone restarts automatically and of course Heating issues. I lodged my complain via apple support my case ID is 1119891498. They told me to restore my phone again I did, They did some exercise with me for 15-20 min and I uploaded all the data from my PC to apple website so that they can diagnose. Then they told me to go to service center I did that as well and now I am again facing problems like app crash and home button not working.

Now Technical team says I did not advised you to go to service center Commercial team did that, what the ****, and technical team says only you can repair your phone yourself, wow what a technical team of world renowned company.

I am asking for replacement and they are not providing me that. What should I do??

I will complain to consumer court but I want to escalate the matter to apple as well, How can I do that

Please help??

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3, null

This is what I have learnt about India. It is not necessarily Apple's opinion.

India and service problems do tend to be raised here quite often. Apple have never had a formal presence in India as they have in other countries, which I believe is largely due to Indian law on the ownership of companies. As a result, service tends to be a matter to be dealt with only by the original seller.

I recently read in the Times of India that Croma Electronics, which operate under the Tata umbrella, may soon be opening formal Apple stores. This being so, I imagine and hope that the matters of prices, warranties and service will be then undertaken much as they are here in the West. Until then purchases from other countries are best returned to that country for warranty and service; in particular, for iPhones it is obligatory.

Purchases in India are best returned to the original seller for service of warranties, indeed for any service. And from reports, even that can have its difficulties For the time being, before you purchase in India it would be advisable to check the sellers has the means to service and uphold warranties. Be prepared to shop around.

You can try to contact the Apple office in Bangalore or failing all else, write to Apple's head Office in California using normal mailing services.

Seems exclusive to India - of course, I don't recall trying the Europe one (Ireland?)

It's the SPAM filter rather than the "7 words you can't say on TV PLUS" filter

Must be that those phone numbers are (or were at one time when a defeat routine was developed) commonly used in fake posts(?) to lend credibility, so AJT used them as the filter string. Could also be an instance of "Law of Unintended Consequences" in that they did not realize the numbers were for Apple India!!!

Which vendor is it?

flipKart.com = legit reseller - has an App in the AppStore

https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=flipkart.com

OR

flip-Cart.in = doesn't even have a search function on its site = sells everything under the sun

https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=flip-cart.in

the hyphen in the domain name is accurate

The site EXISTS, so there is nefarious doings going on - isn't there?

I have a feeling we're not getting the whole story here.

You bought your phone from flipkart. So far as I know, they are NOT an authorized distributor of iPhones.

You bought a used, gray market phone. You're undoubtedly being turned away for service by Apple because the phone originated in a different country.

iPhones can only be serviced in the country where they were originally sold.

Next time, buy from an authorized source.

Hello KT,

FlipCart are an important electical goods on line retailer in India. They appear to have an agreement with Apple to sell iPhones and they are sufficiently well established not to have to sell grey market goods. Having said that, I am aware of several instances where they have been reported as difficult over repairs and warranties. Which is why I recommended the OP approach the Apple people in Bangalore. Because Apple are still not formally represented, my guess is that the office is a token presence.

I'm partly to blame for writing Flipcart instead of Flipkart. Let's say it's natural spelling for me. However, Flipkart is as I described and in Google comes under several headings (though I didn't see it with a hyphen). I think it's a case like (you'll remember Woolworths), it was called Woolly's, Woollies, as well as Woolworths and everyone knew who you meant.

Frankly, the sooner Apple establishes themselves formally, the better. The last I read was the Indian Government (the fly in the ointment) had given way over their previous insistence of a +50% ownership of foreign companies by Indian Nationals, the main reason for Apple's low level establishment. There may be hope, yet.
