Q: I have a new device.

SInce I haven't shopped at the App Store in years, and I now have a new device, and a new e-mail, I updated my Apple ID.

 

SInce the new device doesn't show on the list, and since it says you have to sign in to the App Store or iTunes for it to show, I went to the App Store.

 

Unfortunately, when the App Store asked for my password, it did NOT ask for my Apple ID.  Instead, it assumed that my OLD e-mail was still my Apple ID.  That is incorrect.

 

However, I tried playing along and put in my password, but, of course, that didn't work, because the Apple ID name has changed.

 

And I can't find out any way to tell the App Store what my current Apple ID name is, since it incorrectly thinks it knows.

 

SO -----> I can't add my device to my list, I can't shop at the App Store, and I can't believe that in all these years iTunes still doesn't work correctly.

 

By the way, I don't have a computer anymore, so suggestions to sync won't work for me.  My iPad is my computer.
