Q: Is there a way I can do this on Windows 10?

I have Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.  I'm ethernet connected to a base station which connects wirelessly to another airport station.  That station is wired to my main router.  Every once in awhile (it's been happening more frequently recently), My system displays that I'm connected to an unidentified network with no internet access.  My ethernet cable is tightly connected as well so there isn't a loose connection.  The only thing that seems to work is restarting everything including all stations and the router but it's only temporary.  Is there a permanent fix for this situation?

What is the exact model of the base station that you have your PC directly connected to by Ethernet? What about the other base station? Are both base stations configured for an extended wireless network?

If they are configured for an extended network, where is the extending base station located in relation to the base station that it is extending ... same room, different room, different floor? If different room/floor, approximately how far away are they in feet or meters?
