Q: No Custom Sounds after 9.3.3 Updates

Hi,

I have updated to 9.3.3 and now I have no custom sounds at all. If I check Vibrate on Silent, then I get a low buzzing sounds and the phone vibrates. If I uncheck this then the phone is completely silent, devoid of all custom sounds for text messages, email, notifications... This was not the case in the previous version.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.3

Here is a good place to start with troubleshooting sound problems on your iPhone:

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support

If none of those suggestions help, ask again. Be sure to try step 4 above.

Updates have been known to change some settings - for some people.
You may need to set up the custom sounds again.

Go to Settings, then Sounds. Uncheck "Lock Sounds" and it should back to normal.
