Q: screen settings for G4 Power Book

Good morning.

My trusty G4 Power Book 1.67 running 10.5.8 has recently started not showing lighter text in a readable manner. The screen background also seems "whiter" (lighter) than usual.

Darker text and images seem OK.

What settings will restore that lighter text and background?

I think your display may be "getting old", unfortunately.

You might try to calibrate and save the profile. This says for Yosemite, but looks like it should be the same for your OS X

It's a "wizard"
