dropped my iPhone SE in the sink, hard impact and other things.

Last night I got out of the shower, I had my phone on the sink and I brushed my teeth. I accidentally bumped the sink and my phone fell into the sink and had a hard impact, along with the water still on and it went on the phone. I quickly grabbed it and it seemed fine, played music out of the speakers, perfectly fine. I came to notice, most of my screen was dark except for the left corner. It seemed fine. So basically 90 percent of my phone screen suffered water damage. Now, I tried plugging in my headphones into the jack, and they wont go in all the way. I tried using force, no success. I flashed my flashlight into it, and it seems like the very back part of the jack moved up into the middle of the hole. I cant hear anything also out of my speakers after leaving it in 2 slices of bread to get the water out overnight. My phone is now sitting in a container of rice. What can I do to solve these problems without spending a bunch of money that I don't have??

First off, keeping the device on and trying to use it was the worst thing one could do. If able to turn it off, one can put it in a sealed container of uncooked rice for a period of 5-7 days, and it may come back long enough to make a backup of the device so you have saved content to be able to restore to a new device.

Otherwise, water and electronics do not mix, and you will probably need to replace the device. You can do an out of warranty replacement, which is significantly lower in price than a new device, which only Apple offers. Any other manufacturer would require you to purchase a new device. Good luck.

Hi

If you purchased AppleCare+, your iPhone is covered for up to two incidents of accidental damage (each subject to a service fee / excess).

Otherwise, it may be eligible for out-of-warranty service.

Contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation to establish your service options, costs and likely timescales:

iPhone Service Pricing - Apple Support

This kind of thing is not covered by the warranty but if you purchased Applecare+ you get two out of warranty replacements are a reduced cost.

Check Your Service and Support Coverage - https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do - "Review your Apple warranty status and eligibility for support and extended coverage." Requires a hardware serial number.
